Majhuwa village of Irountar VDC

Majhuwa village is located at Ilam district Irountar VDC ward No. 4.This village have another small village is Dhodeni. This village have total 114 houses with most of Rai casts. Here is also Magar, Sunuwar(Mukhiya), Bhujel, Shrestha, Sherpa, Tamang and Lepcha casts. In majhuwa we have one primary school “Shree Ball Kanya Pra. Vi.”. In this village have a one community forest “Shree Hashpokhari Majhuwa community forest” it have 463.84 hector area. This village have lots of water resources. Thimai Khola, Bhale Chhaga, Bhalu khop are the rivers of this village.

Mostly all villagers are farmer. They products lot of cash crops. Mainly they products zinger(Aaduwa), Olan(Milk), Amliso, Aalaichi and vegetable (Tomato, Radices  ect...). This village is rich on Rai culture. We  save our culture for future.
